Honda's made significant contributions in Committee service

- Founding the Minority Recruitment and Retention Committee
- Curriculum and Examination Committee
- Generating Preliminary Exams (making sure they are graded appropriately)

- Contributions in recruitment
- Made contributions in Advising
- Served on more then 30 thesis committees (20 in GPN)

Now at Vollum Institute at the Oregon Health Sciences Center in
Portland
Finally comes Chris' contribution in teaching
- Several years ago the steering committee decided we needed a
Systems Neuroscience Course.
- Even though Chris had a large teaching load at the time he volunteered
to run the course
- If he is not giving lectures he is sitting in many of the classes
- Taught laboratory sessions single handedly
- Every year students would have to look at dull MRIs
This year he brought them to imaging facility and imaged the brains
of many students
