Research Description:
My research focuses on brain tumor biology. My lab has established a novel, clinically relevant murine model of human glioblastoma multiforme. I will be using this model to determine the role of extracellular matrix adhesion receptors in cancer stem cell renewal and mobility. I will also be looking at the role of these receptors in the maintenance of normal stem cell niche.
