My research investigates the contribution of chromosomal defects and epigenetic dysregulation in the etiology of neuropsychiatric diseases, namely schizophrenia and autism. I approach these topics by generating murine models using genetic approaches in embryonic stem cells, then characterize these models using an array of behavioral and neuropathological endophenotyping measures.
