Undergraduate Institution and Major/Degree:

  • University of Minnesota, BS, Biomedical Engineering, 2005

Major Advisor(s):

Research Description:

Primarily Interested in the internal representations of timed behaviors.
Non-human primates are trained in an eye movement task in which the timing of their eye movements is critical for reward. Electrophysiological recordings are collected from brain regions thought to contribute to the production of these timed eye movements. These recordings are then analyzed for timed components that contribute to the animal's behavior.
