Graduate Research:

My graduate research focuses on how systemic changes due to menopause, especially insomnia, contribute to higher rates of Alzheimer's disease in women. Both menopause and Alzheimer's negatively impact sleep quality, and my research aims to further clarify this relationship with the broader goal of identifying potential therapeutic interventions.

Undergraduate Research

My postbac research focused on the impact of chronic early life sleep disruption on spatial memory and tau pathology in a PS19 mouse model. This research resulted in the discovery of a REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD) phenotype in aged tau mice.
